Odo´Sha, Venezuelan Folklore I
Odo´Sha
Evil spirit, owner of the forest, of the wind, demon of the mountain and lord of the dream. He is always ready to stick a thorn in the tongue of those who dare to go out at night and who ignore his warning whistle. At their charge are the demons called Suamo, owners of wild animals that eat people. They inhabit the heights of the Guyanese tepuyes.
