Our Sorcery Hour. This weekend.

When organizing Our Sorcery Hour, the vision was clear: to create an accessible, deeply diverse space where the quality of knowledge always comes before commercial scale.

This coming weekend, we are hosting a virtual gathering of 13 distinct workshops led by practitioners who bring genuine depth, respect, and experience to the Craft.

We intentionally kept the registration price low because true community spaces should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation or physical location. This approach aims to make everyone feel welcome and valued, fostering trust in our commitment to accessibility.

In many standard events, attendees are charged steep ticket prices, yet the presenters themselves are rarely paid for their labor, research, and energy. We choose a different, more sustainable model. By keeping our overhead minimal and focusing on what matters, your low-cost ticket directly ensures that every single presenter is fairly compensated for their valuable time and wisdom. It is an act of mutual respect and solidarity.

Our Sorcery Hour is not another very expensive/inaccessible event for many members of the metaphysical community seeking a safe learning space, but rather a series of workshops, collectively hosted, organized, and promoted, in webinar format, for members of the LGBTQIA community and other minorities within the esoteric community.

The low costs of each ticket, although accessible to most, will help us cover the work of the designers, coordinators, rental platforms, presenters, and webinar services used, making possible a series of short classes (50~60 minutes per class) of the hand of different sorcerers, brujas, witches, and expert teachers on the subject, with a variety of presenters who are here to represent different faces of the community.

Creating a series of virtual classes accessible to the majority on various topics of magic and sorcery, where diversity, respect among our members, collaboration, and a safe space for all are vital.

Featuring this Year: Yvla Mara Radziszewski, Jezmina Von Thiele, Emma Kathryn, Mawiyah Kai EL-Jamah Bomani, Laura Davila aka Daphne la Hecchicera, Laura Gonzalez, Elhoim Leafar, Ian Allan, RJ aka Magica Guajiro, Ron Padron, Jonathan Ramirez, Shanice Ariel, and Lilith Dorsey.

To help us meet our goal and support fair pay for presenters, but also to raise the same donation numbers as a year ago, we need just a couple more attendees over the next 24 hrs. Your support empowers our community and sustains this space.

If you believe in supporting a community that values fair exchange, labor ethics, and genuine accessibility, your presence fosters a sense of shared purpose and belonging, making a tangible difference. Secure your spot in the link in bio and stand with our community of presenters.

Join me at Templefest 2020

TEMPLEFEST 2020
This year is going virtual and will be incredible.

This year 2020, I have had the honor (and the incredible privilege) of being invited to be part of Templefest, the midsummer festival that is organized every year by "The Temple Of Witchcraft", an incredible organization that I invite you to follow On social media if you are interested in learning more about these esoteric topics, that's why here below I leave you with links to follow them.

This year is also the first time that this event will be held completely online, and that is great, because it will allow the regular attendees of the event to continue being part of it without the current "risk to contact" as a measure of Caution, but also, it will allow all those who do not have the possibilities to travel to the event, to be part of it, this time from home.

The event will last a whole day, it includes about ten classes with incredible teachers, and various rituals that will be performed online, so I hope that you too can come and be part of the event.

About my Class for the Templefest 2020

Templefest presenting Elhoim Leafar
Saturday, August 22 at 3 PM US east coast time
with Elhoim Leafar

Money is not everything, but if you want to live fully during your time on this physical plane, it is best if you have certain resources, and many of those resources are only acquired through an energetic transaction. Money - from bills and coins to checks and electronic transfers - is a physical manifestation of your inner abundance, energetic expression of your own karmic, and individual wealth. The better you understand it, the better your access to that abundant life will be.

In this workshop, we will focus and speak openly about that relationship that is so difficult to understand: the relationship between Witches and Mages with money. Answer such common questions as "why is it so difficult for many members of our community to get it? what is wrong with those prosperity spells we are doing ourselves? is it acceptable to ask the divine for assistance for ourselves? what mistakes are we making when evoking money in our own lives?"

We will open this talk with a ritual to attract money, and close with some tips to use in rituals for money, abundance, and good fortune.

In Defense of Online Events.

In defense of online events
and why these are so important to the pagan,
mystical, and metaphysical community.

Yes, this is a new reality, we are here writing and reading about the events that are now online, because, in these uncertain times, it is best to try to move forward very carefully, without losing hope, but keeping calm and all the corresponding precautionary measures from home.

I'm Elhoim Leafar, and this is my post, where I recommend you attend online events. Those who already have time reading my things know that I am not the best linguist, nor will I waste your time adding thousands of supporting references to the footer, I simply write here my point of view on certain topics and I relate my experiences.

First, my little background on this topic.

I come from Venezuela, and I came to the USA in 2015, until that moment, I was totally unaware of these great events and workshops, my closest example to these are the events held by the organization "Hysteria Pagana" in Mexico, its conventions, marches, and events to celebrate "The Pride of the Witches" and the pagan community, were the most admired that had as a reference to these, however, in South America, these events, in addition to being practically non-existent, the few that exist they don't have the right promotion to go further.

After my arrival in the USA, I learned about the existence of these events and workshops, the WitchsFest USA, the Pagan Pride Day Festival, the HexFest, the TempleFest, The Earth Warriors Festival, and the Pagan Fires Festival, among others, some of them. less known (even to me), and others that for different reasons no longer exist.

Second, the events.

These events are fascinating to me, although I have always seen esoteric venues as the perfect place to meet and socialize others who are involved in our journey, these events take it to another level, and allow us for several days, to be part of the small holistic congregation of society, share with other magicians and sorcerers, fortune tellers, healers, occultists, craftsmen, spiritists and artists.

For the past five years I have personally attended the WitchsFest USA organized in New York City, by the High Priestess, Starr Ann Ravenhawk, never as a presenter or vendor, but as a member of the community, trying to socialize, make friends there, mingle with other sorcerers and healers, and buy all kinds of articles, books, diaries, crafts, and spend a whole day surrounded by magic and sorcery in the heart of the city.

Physical events, now virtual.

Uranus has made some interesting movements in the sky, and we can say that "astrologically", everything that is happening in the post-Covid 19 (without forgetting the countless lives we have lost), is forcing us to move forward, to find new forms of communication, to investigate the networks, to get out of the comfort zone, to work from home, to spend more quality time with the family, and to focus on our personal projects, now without that old excuse of "I don't have time".

And our events are not the exception to everything that is happening. If recently in March, the organizers of the Witchsfest USA, in New York City, announced that this 2019, their event with more than 50 presenters and more than 20 commercial venues involved, would become online, it was only a matter of time for that other organizers, behind the "Hexfest, a weekend of Witchery", and the "TempleFest, a midsummer festival", will take the same measures, and all of them, for the benefit of the metaphysical community.

Although it is easy to complain and argue "virtual events are not the same experience", they continue to exist, and it is fantastic that this occurs, since it allows us (beyond superficiality and excess filters on social networks), to interact directly with our Coven members, teachers, organizers, fortune tellers, favorite presenters, and authors.

More than just presentations.

A good event is versatile and plays with the eclectic, in addition, a good event allows different individuals who are related to the topic, interact with each other, come to learn and/or teach, or offer their various products and services (shops and botanicals). ).

The Witchsfest USA (to take place in July), is the correct example of one of these virtual events, not only interspersing multiple presentations simultaneously on a virtual portal but also offering the option to different vendors, artisans, shops and artists, from offering their content and products and services to all "attendees" to these virtual events.

While not all events (for a matter of time and organization) offer a virtual space for other vendors and artists, this does not detract from them, each and every one of these events work with the same valuable exchange law. Attendees to the event purchase their ticket online, and in return, receive hours and hours of classes with their favorite presenters, authors, teachers, and community leaders.

These events are the future, and criticizing them does not make any sense, in fact, there are no valid arguments to justify that an event cannot be carried out online, especially taking into account that even the concert tours of the most awarded artists in the world, Today they are easy to see online (via YouTube, Amazon Prime, etc ...).

With nothing more to add about it, here I leave you the links of the next virtual events held here in the USA which you can access virtually if in the coming month's other events are announced, I will also add them here below.

Kisses and Light, Elhoim!

A short note to my readers.

A short note to the readers of my blog, about my upcoming books and events.

Good morning lovers, a couple of days ago I had the wonderful opportunity to participate in a video (live interview) with my great friend Jacob Pierri (@AusetGypsy), for those who had the opportunity to see us live, thank you very much, for those who no, here below I leave the link of the video.

There I spoke about several things, the most important are about a book in which I am working and the events where I will be participating, here I leave them in writing, because I know that my accent can be somewhat complicated for many.

I have been working since 2014 on a book about a current of paganism that interests me a lot (clearly I am not running), and since September 2015 on a book about good fortune. The second of these is a manuscript in process that will be published in due course, because like everything in life, it involves a process, and a lot of detail.

Regarding the events in which I will be present. I will be presenting several workshops, all of them very different, in various online events in the coming months.

We will see each other in July at WitchsFest USA where I will offer my workshops "Your Gods, Our Gods" and "Candomble, ancestral magic". Later we will see each other twice during the month of October, first at HexFest USA, where I will be offering three workshops online, and later at TempleFest, organized by "The Temple Of Witchcraft", where I will carry out the presentation of a single workshop, My all-time favorite, which I've only featured twice at some NY and NJ stores so far, and this workshop is great but I'd rather save the details for now.

Here below I leave the links to each of the events where I will be participating. If you wish to attend any of the following events, I invite you to click on the name, the page will redirect you to the event and there you can purchase your corresponding tickets.

I hope to see you at one of these events soon, meanwhile, we continue to see each other every Thursday and Friday night via Instagram live, and don't forget the most important thing, be kind and be helpful.
