Who I am?

Hi there! My name is Elhoim, I am a resident of New York City, an urban spiritual worker, diviner, dowser, tarot reader, and Sorcerer. I was born in a little corner of Amazonia, between beautiful trees and deep rivers where snakes change their skin every morning and the moon illuminates the trails every night.

PROFESSIONAL & ACADEMIC LIFE
Beyond my work as an author and spiritual worker, I did four years of military school at Instituto Militarizado Generalisimo Francisco de Miranda and two years of service in the National Guard. I went to the University where I made my degree in  Marketing and Advertising at Instituto Universitario de Nuevas Profesiones and also specialized in social media campaigns at ISUM. 

LITERARY LIFE

I began working as a cultural promoter for the National Distribution Agency "Circulo de Lectores", a Spanish company specializing in selling books by catalog from door to door with offices in Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Venezuela. Once the company was acquired by the PLANETA EDITORIAL label (the largest Spanish-language publisher in Latin America), I take a position as a regional sales and promotion representative for the same company.

In 2014 I began publishing a short section on spells and rituals based on the lunar phases for the Venezuelan Magazine Vanidades, a couple of articles on Latin American Voodoo for Los Orishas Magazine, an article on Land Native Indigenous Magic for El Universal Newspaper, and I won the award for "Best Mother's Day Column" in a special edition of the Variety Magazine in the same year 2014.

In 2015 under the label "Circulo" I published 'Wicca! Amor & Alma' (subsequently published also in English and Portuguese). My first compilation book of Spells was created by me during my seven years as a participant in a Coven with Wiccan leanings. All copies of the book sold out in Venezuela within two weeks of its publication and it was #1 in Sales on the Amazon Mexico page for 11 consecutive weeks.

Also, I started writing a small section on Magic on MySpace and later transferred it to an Internet Blog that opened in 2009, then I created this new blog in 2016, just a year after leaving my native Venezuela to reach the United States where I had to start from scratch.

SPIRITUAL LIFE

As a Spiritual worker, urban chaman, and Brujo from Amazonas and Caracas (Venezuela), I bear with me more than two decades of experience in my work. I learned to heal directly from the hands of brujos and curanderos of the river. 

I learned to perform spiritual cleansing and channel good fortune for my clients who always come back for more.

In addition to the above, I am an initiate of Espiritismo Tradicional Venezolano (Venezuelan Traditional Spiritualist Court), La Santisima Corte de los Encantados (The Holy Court of the Enchanted Spirits), La Corte Hechicera y la Corte de las Brujas (The Sorceress and Witch's Court), as well as I have initiations in Candomble and Lucumi.

SOME INFO ON THIS BLOG

Here you will find absolutely nothing coherent, I do not read other internet blogs so you will not find here any reference to popular culture or TV series, I read books and I watch many movies and documentaries, this blog is my personal space to share my ideas, conceptions, rituals, and unlike many internet blogs, here I do not intend to sell you the "absolute and universal truth", this space is full of spelling mistakes, personal ideas that not many shares and LOTS, LOTS AND MORE LOTS OF MAGIC.

I love all animals, especially reptiles and dogs, I drink six teacups a day and I have five sisters, all of them witches and fortune-tellers, I have written some books so, sometimes you will find here some texts that I use to promote my work, I think in a democracy, freedom of expression, fairies, UFOs, gods and I am completely sure that the earth is not flat, I can't stand the absurd ideas of socialism and I think Trump is the worst thing that has happened to the USA.

I believe in ritual magic and I believe that the greater dedication you put into each little ritual, the more effective the result will be, your magic is great and powerful, more than many books tell you, only that you have spent your entire life thinking that others They are more powerful than you, and it shouldn't be that way.

I'm a lifelong seer and at my age, I don't care to fit in, be popular or have thousands of followers, I just write here what I know and what I still learn, from time to time you will find some of my articles in magazines in Germany, Venezuela, Colombia, Turkey, and Mexico.

I consider myself a very good Tarotist, a good Radiestecist (dowser), and maybe a terrible runes reader, I'm one of those few shamans who have known the powers of tobacco, ayahuasca, and the heart of the Amazon, I learn from my Anne the art of healing and from my Baba the art of dowsing, I share my nonsense stuff in this virtual corner 24/7.

I was not baptized, they raised me between pagans and witches so do not expect to find here many references to Satanism, the devil, and other Christian beliefs here.
