June Moon
It is the sixth lunar month of the year, symbolizing the end of the first half of the year. At this point any project we have planned should be at least half way done. June is named after the goddess Juno, Queen of the Gods and Empress of heaven, protective goddess of family and warmth of home.
During most of this time the Sun God is aligned with the zodiacal sign of Gemini, while the moon is mostly influenced by the astrological sign of Sagittarius, until shortly reaching the full moon when it will be aligned with the sign of Capricorn .
June's Moon has the power to strengthen all types of plantations and crops, perform magic to summon and control spirits of nature and invoke the ancestors, strengthen our powers of enchantment and sweeten the enemies, is the moon to annul very old talismans.
Moon in Earth Signs
When the moon is in the earth signs like Taurus, Virgo & Capricorn, it is the ideal place for magic that involves the element Earth, nature and plants, when the earth signs give us the power to cast spells that promote will and sympathy.
In the Moon of Earth, conjure gnomes and elves, those tiny but wise spirits of the forest and gardens, the color for candles that we use in the ritual space during this day is coffee or green, and it is preferable that altars for this magic be facing North if possible.
