Books We Are Expecting to Read in 2023!
Read Too: 21 Modern Books You Need and Our First Post In 2023
In the year of March 2019, I created this Instagram page SolitaryWitchBooks focused on sharing (only at that time) the few books that I endorsed for some other publishing house; the list grew little by little, and so did the content of the page, although this was limited to about 8 publications per year.
During the past month of July 2022, we worked to activate the page and delete all the old content to replace it with new, more active, and better-quality content, and we went from only 269 followers made in almost three years to 800 followers in just one couple of months. Clearly, the changes have been positive.
Continuing with the work, we are doing on the page that consists of:
- Two to Three book reviews per month.
- Only promote books AFTER we read them, not just because someone sent them.
- Provide support to new and diverse authors inside and outside the USA.
- Provide support and promotion in real time to botanicas and bookstores.
- Recommend one to two monthly books in our "Book Club."
- Offer seasonal Giveaways to bring the books closer to other people.
- Be attentive to editorial offers and discounts we share with you immediately after we know.
- Do not recommend books written from a misogynist, transphobic, homophobic, or racist perspective. No matter how famous the author is or how "classic" the book is considered.
This year we have created and shared on the page a short list with some of the most attractive titles that we are waiting to be published. For now, we have only included those titles that will be published during the first semester of 2023 and of which we already have some knowledge. However, we are still waiting for the publication dates of other titles from Authors we love, like:
- Craig Spencer (WitchcraftUnchained).
- Temperance Alden (WildwomanWitchcraft)
- Marshall (theWitchofSouthernLight) among others.
Here is our list:
