#BookReview I have been reading GaeaGenesis written by Mr. Oberon Zell-Ravenheart.

First, a bit of background here, who is Oberon Zell and how do we get in touch?

Oberon Zell is a living legend in the holistic community, as I had the opportunity to write to him years ago, I have been following his admirable work from Venezuela for many years, and just a couple of years ago we met at some online event or class (not really). I remember which of all the events it was because there have been many these recent years).

Oberon Zell is a neopagan writer and religious leader highly known in our community, not only for his incredible costumes and that particular "magician look", but also for being one of the most vocal characters about neopaganism for online communities, Oberon has been in recent decades a source of inspiration and continuing teaching for many of us. It is worth mentioning that in addition, Oberon Zell is the co-founder of 'Church of All Worlds' and founder of 'Grey School of Wizardry'; a virtual institution of magical teaching.

My direct contact with this book was thanks to our mutual friend, an amazing elder in our community who has been around for a long time, Cat Gina Cole, who recently published her first book with Llewellyn Publications entitled "Psychic Skills for Magic & Witchcraft: Developing Your Spirit, Intuition & Clairvoyance", and available everywhere books are sold.

Thanks to Cat I learned that Master Oberon was about to publish this book and weeks later I received a copy in my mail, so let's talk about the book.

Gaea Genesis: Conception and Birth of the Living Earth.

We are talking about a huge book, 436 pages. With a foreword by Alex M. Vikoulov. a Russian-American Author and filmmaker, cyberneticist, and philosopher. A short but select list of appropriately chosen endorsements for this book. Rigorous editing by Haleigh Isbill (University of Nevada), and illustrations, lots of illustrations, incredible illustrations.

Let's talk about the content.

If as in my case, you have only read about Gaia theory once or twice in your life, I recommend you to check on youtube and you will get some videos on the subject to refresh. If on the other hand, you want to read the book but feel it might be hard to understand, you just need to search for "Gaia Theory" on youtube, google, amazon books, and your favorite podcast platform, and you're not going to get thousands of sources, but, you'll get some interesting conversations to follow.

I'm still two chapters away from finishing the book, but master Oberon's ideas and concepts are incredible, he goes far beyond trying to "sell" his concept to you, in fact, it's the opposite, Oberon presents you with all his ideas and concepts one after the other. another, his vision and perspective on the concept of Anima Mundi and Gaia as a single Living Organism, and although his ideas are quite clear, he suggests you keep an open mind to develop your own concept, not "trying" to make you believe that this option is the only option, but rather saying to yourself "this is one of many ideas, this is my perception of the subject after dedicated years of study and research, open your mind a little more".

The amount of historical, spiritual, religious, and philosophical information and concepts in the book are enough to lead you to rearrange your entire reading list, Oberon cites a host of very useful sources and references.

If you are familiar with the concept of Pachamama, Living Earth, the Goddess Rhea (who was originally represented as a goddess of the mountains and the earth), or if you are looking for reading material in relation to the "collective consciousness" and mother earth as a single being, and you still haven't read the book, why haven't you ordered it yet? Below are the links.

Who is this book especially for?
I personally consider this book to be for all of us who fall under the umbrella of paganism or neopaganism, druidism, natural sorcery, and modern pagan spirituality.

Oberon fully introduces us to the concept of mother earth, the elements, the earth gods, primordial deities (the sun and moon), the wheel of time, and pantheism as a belief system.

If possible, I'll be contacting Oberon (as well as every other author I read) to talk more about the book and maybe record something together, below are some links for you.
