HO'OPONOPONO Healing a little more each day.

HO'OPONOPONO Healing a little more each day.

Ho'oponopono is a Hawaiian ancestral practice based on reconciliation and forgiveness; Is deeply beautiful and fortunately, it is becoming a philosophy of life for many people.

According to Hawaiian scholar Kawena Pukui, ho'oponopono is a very old custom that arose from the belief in Hawaii that the diseases or evils that fell on a person were a consequence of breaking the spiritual laws. The people were sure that they could not be cured until the sick man asked for forgiveness from the gods or the person with whom he had quarreled.

This belief fueled a custom that favored social relationships as different families began to meet, daily or weekly, to maintain cordial relationships and prevent future problems.

According to the Hawaiian dictionary "Ho'oponopono" means: mental hygiene: family congregations where relationships are corrected through prayer, discussion, confession, repentance, mutual compensation and forgiveness.

Ho'o is a word that is used for a noun to become a verb and in this case the noun is "pono" which means: goodness, righteousness, morality, moral qualities, proper or proper procedure, excellence, welfare, prosperity, True, or natural, right, proper, proper, righteous, virtuous, equitable, beneficial, successful, in perfect order, precise, correct, facilitated, relieved, duty, necessary.

Ponopono means: straightening; Put in order or in form, to correct, to revise, to adjust, to amend, to regulate, to fix, to rectify, to order, to arrange orderly or neatly.

Usually, in a classical ho'oponopono ceremony, stakeholders discuss the problem and all those present cooperate to resolve and amend the wrong cause. There are moments of silence for reflection and especially for connecting with the feelings of all present; Then comes the confession of repentance and forgiveness. Finally the other is released; Let go of the past and end with a great celebration.

Over time, ho'oponopono has evolved and become known worldwide, thus becoming a tradition of forgiveness, problem-solving and psycho-spiritual self-help.

In 1992 Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len continued to study ho'oponono and applied it in his work with criminal patients and mental problems. Dr. Len, contrary to previous scholars, concluded that "ho'oponopono's primary goal is to reach zero, where there would be zero limits. No memory. No identity. "

His theory is based on a principle of absolute responsibility; Thus taking responsibility for the actions of all beings and not only for their own.

Dr. Len proposes that if we take absolute responsibility for our life, then everything we see, hear, taste, touch, or experience is our responsibility because it is present in our own lives.

Absolute responsibility says that everything we see and feel is actually a personal projection and therefore all consciences are part of the same whole. In this way, if we cleanse an error or an evil in one's conscience it will be cleaned for all.

Healing our relationship with ourselves, our energy, our mind and our heart will automatically change the experiences around us and heal our relationships.

Freeing ourselves from any blockage that may have occurred because of the relationship with another person is the best favor we can do. It gives us the possibility to live with more peace, tranquility, health and free of feelings or energies that do not correspond to us.

The 4 Perfect Steps of Ho'oponopono:

Give love (I love you).
Repent (I'm sorry).
Ask forgiveness (Please forgive me).
Thank you (Thank you)

DirĂge and give these words to all and to you, the world, a wounded being, your family and your past, forgive. Ho'oponopono is an injection of divine wisdom.

Blessings.
